Sattva-guna, represented by the Earth, is suppressed by Rajo-guna, the Asura.
By devotion to the Lord, one gets the power to conquer Rajo-guna and secure Sattva-guna
The boar came out of Brahma’s nostril- indicates that the power to conquer Rajo-guna will come from within oneself, if one cultivates devotion.
